Privacy policy

This policy explains what CandorLight LLC (“we”) collects through PgFlow-ai, this website and our licensing service, and why. The short version: the app sends us no usage data, and we keep only what we need to sell and license the software.

The PgFlow-ai app

  • No telemetry. The app does not send usage statistics, analytics or the contents of your databases to us.
  • License checks are offline. License keys are signed and verified on your computer.
  • The app contacts our licensing service only when you start the trial or activate a license. It then sends the computer’s machine ID (a value derived from the computer, shown under Help ▸ License), the activation code if you have one, and for trials optionally your name, email address, the app version and the operating system.
  • AI features. If you configure the AI Advisor or AI Assistant, requests go directly from your computer to the AI provider you chose, using your own API key, and only when you ask a question. They include the statement, its plan and related details. We do not receive them. The provider’s own privacy terms apply.
  • Your connections, settings and API keys are stored locally on your computer.

Our licensing service

To issue and manage licenses we store:

  • Order data received from Stripe when you buy: your name, email address, company (if given), the product, the order and transaction identifiers, the date, and the number of seats.
  • License data: your activation codes, and for each activation the machine ID, the dates of activation and release.
  • Trial data: the machine ID, the start and end dates, and the optional details listed above.
  • Contact messages you send through the support form or by email: your name, email address, company (if given), topic and message.
  • Technical logs: IP addresses and request details, used to protect the service (for example rate limiting) and to diagnose errors.

We use this data to deliver activation codes, to enforce the number of activations a license allows, to prevent abuse of the free trial, to answer your questions, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Payments: Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe on its own checkout page. Stripe collects your payment and billing details and processes them under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card details. Stripe shares the order information listed above with us so that we can issue your license.

This website

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and its fonts and images are served from our own domain. The buy buttons take you to Stripe’s checkout page, which may set cookies needed for the payment. The forms on the license portal and the support page send what you enter to our licensing service.

Retention

We keep order and license data for as long as the license exists and as required by tax and accounting law. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Technical logs are kept for a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To use these rights, email support@pgflow-ai.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
