Activating a license

After you buy a license, Stripe emails the receipt and we send an activation code by email. It looks like this:

- Open PgFlow-ai.
- Go to Help ▸ License ▸ Activate (or use the license screen that appears when no valid license is installed).
- Enter the activation code and confirm.
The app sends the code and this computer’s machine ID to our license server and receives a license key locked to this computer. From then on the key is verified offline: the app does not contact the server again to check the license, and it sends no telemetry.
Case, spaces and dashes in the code don’t matter.
How many computers?

Activating the same computer again does not use another activation; you get the same key back.
Common messages
- Unknown code: check the code in your email, or have the codes sent again.
- Activation limit reached: the code is already active on the maximum number of computers. Release one first.
- Revoked: the license was refunded or charged back. Contact support if you think this is a mistake.
