Installation (Windows, macOS and Linux)
Updated
Both installers are self-contained: they include the application runtime, a private Python interpreter with the backend’s packages, and the PostgreSQL client library. The target computer needs nothing else installed.

Download
PgFlow-ai-1.0.1-x64.msifrom the download page. -
Optionally verify it in PowerShell and compare the result with the SHA-256 on the download page:
Get-FileHash .\PgFlow-ai-1.0.1-x64.msi -Algorithm SHA256 -
Run the
.msi. It installs intoC:\Program Files\PgFlow-aiand adds a Start Menu shortcut and an Add/Remove Programs entry. The last page offers to launch PgFlow-ai.
Upgrading: run the newer .msi; it upgrades the existing installation in place.
Uninstalling: use Settings ▸ Apps (or Add/Remove Programs).
macOS 13 or later
There are two disk images: PgFlow-ai-1.0.1-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and newer) and PgFlow-ai-1.0.1-x64.dmg for Intel Macs. To check which you have, open the Apple menu ▸ About This Mac.
-
Download the image for your Mac and optionally verify it in Terminal, comparing the result with the SHA-256 on the download page:
shasum -a 256 PgFlow-ai-1.0.1-arm64.dmg -
Open the
.dmgand drag PgFlow-ai onto the Applications folder next to it, then eject the disk image. -
Start PgFlow-ai from Applications or Launchpad. The app is not yet notarized by Apple, so on the first start macOS says it cannot verify the developer. Choose Done, open System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway next to PgFlow-ai. macOS asks only once.
For Backup / Restore, install the PostgreSQL client tools, for example with Homebrew (brew install libpq) or Postgres.app; PgFlow-ai finds them in the usual locations.
Upgrading: drag the newer version to Applications and replace the old one. Your connections and settings are kept.
Uninstalling: move PgFlow-ai from Applications to the Trash. Settings are in ~/Library/Application Support/pgprofiler.
